MP60 N65.91770, W149.81352, Elevation: 452' The high trip odometer reading is due to my forgetting to stop on the way north, and having to get these photos on the way back south. But the lat and lon are from right next to the milepost.
Out of sight from the Haul Road, the stream to the west shows evidence of centuries of oxbow bends, ponds, and mosquito breeding grounds - the latter making themselves known immediately to anyone foolish enough to stop in that area.
5/13/08 12:23 PM - MP60 looking north. That white thing over the blue sign is the sign for the Hot Spot Cafe, which has not yet opened for the season.
