The "residue" of the 1969 Rambler American that was purchased, used, in 1975. Parked in 1985 with over 167,000 miles on the odometer, most of which I put on myself. The car was exceptionally good handling after some minor suspension upgrades and Velvetouch Metallic brake shoes, and the times that I loaned it to others they always came brought it back with comments on how well it drove. A 232 cu. inch six cylinder with three on the column, it got a consistent 24.5 mpg on the highway. To this day there is not a cracked or broken piece of glass on the vehicle.
